WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., JAN. 29, 2010 – Dennis Crimmins, a firefighter from Point Lookout, New York, proudly sits atop his new custom-built Orange County Chopper that he won in a March of Dimes nationwide sweepstakes. The chopper was designed for NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. and donated by the Dale Jr. Foundation. The sweepstakes raised nearly $50,000 to benefit the March of Dimes® mission to improve the health of babies. Dennis and his niece, Linda Digrazia, attended a ceremony held at the March of Dimes national headquarters. The chopper was presented by famed rocker Dee Snider, National Spokesman of March of Dimes Bikers for Babies® and a father of four children, including two who were born prematurely. Dee partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the Dale Jr. Foundation to bring this fundraising promotion to March of Dimes Bikers for Babies.

Dee Snider will be at Sturgis in South Dakota on Wednesday, August 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  Here’s your chance to meet Dee in person and a winning chance to win the Dale Jr. customized Chopper.  Dee will be at the Grease Monkey Mayhem lot at 8^th & Lazelle Streets.   All proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes, to help give every baby a healthy start.

Dee Snider, radio personality, lead singer of Twisted Sister and national spokesman for Bikers for Babies, appeared on the hit TV show Kitchen Nightmares on September 11th. It was a great show about a pub called Handlebars in

Long Island, NY that was being transformed in to a “gastropub”.

Dee rode up on a 2008 XL883 Harley-Davidson Sportster in Vivid Black, donated by Lighthouse Harley Davidson and auctioned off to benefit March of Dimes. Be sure to check out Lighthouse Harley Davidson and the eBay auction.
